“Financing Export Projects of Small and Medium Enterprises” is an interactive educational program that will give you an overview of the financing options available for your company’s export activities, projects, and programs. The course not only covers the theoretical framework and methodological foundations but mainly focuses on practical skills that you can immediately apply in your professional career.
Successful graduates will receive an official micro-certificate issued by the Prague University of Economics and Business.
The course is designed to support the export expansion of Czech and Moravian small and medium-sized enterprises not only into the European Single Market, but especially into new markets outside Europe and, in the long term, into the Ukrainian market once the armed conflict has ended.
The content focuses on deepening the knowledge and practical skills of course participants by providing an overview of options for obtaining financial resources and utilizing them for export projects and programs of small and medium-sized Czech and Moravian enterprises. It familiarizes participants not only with current options for bank financing of exports, including government support programs, but also enables them to actively master the methodology for assessing financial health to support effective managerial decision-making regarding capital market financing through the issuance of debt securities in accordance with the terms of the European Savings and Investment Union program.
Advanced ability to evaluate the optimal source, type, and category of banking and non-banking providers, including support programs (guarantees) and financing offers for foreign trade contracts and/or SME investment projects, with the aim of optimizing the company’s management’s financial and investment decision-making
The analytical ability to actively work with online trading platforms and actively evaluate price trends in the Czech and European primary and secondary capital markets for debt instruments—securities issued to finance the operations and projects of SMEs
The ability to develop an operational and medium-term financial plan for a small and medium-sized enterprise, including capital investments, costs, and revenues from an investment project, with a focus on expanding the SME’s products into foreign markets
Analytical Competence in Testing and Forecasting the Financial Health of Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises Using Predictive Financial Analysis and the Financial Health Index to Prepare Bond Issues Based on the Principles of the SIU Program on the Czech Capital Market, or Alternatively to Provide a Loan Guarantee from the NRB (National Guarantee/OP TAK Loan Expansion)
